On July 12, Link Jarrett was named the 21st head coach of Notre Dame baseball. Jarrett arrived at Notre Dame after seven seasons as the head coach at UNC Greensboro. While in Greensboro, Jarrett was a two-time Southern Conference Coach of the Year and guided the Spartans to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 20 years.
Fenster is the Minor League Baserunning & Outfield Coordinator with the Boston Red Sox. Previously, he managed in the Red Sox minor league system for 7 years. Fenster is a tremendous clinician and our coaches in attendance will love hearing from him!
We are pleased to announce that former MLB manager Buck Showalter will be speaking at our I-70 Clinic in January. Showalter most recently was the manager of the Baltimore Orioles, but was also a very successful manager with the New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers. He is one of the top MLB managers of the past 25 years and we are very happy to bring him to share with the coaches at the I-70 Clinic
Mosiello will be entering his 7th season at TCU, where he is the hitting/offensive coach for one of college baseball’s best programs. Mosiello is an excellent clinician and has also coached at Tennessee, Auburn, USC and was one of Mike Trout’s minor league managers in the Angels system. Over the course of his career, Mosiello has coach over 80 major league players, 28 All-Stars, two batting title winners, two AL MVPs and one AL Rookie of the Year.
Brent Strom is entering his 6th season as the pitching coach of the Houston Astros. Strom is widely considered the top pitching coach in MLB. In December, Baseball America named Strom MLB’s Coach of the Year. We are very excited to bring Brent Strom to the I-70 Clinic in 2020.
